DESIGN OF SMART HOME SYSTEM USING VOICE COMMANDS BASED ON MICROCONTROLLER RASPBERRY PI

Abstrak

Smart Home has become a new trend lately as a means of automation and energy savings in the home. There are problems in managing and controlling household appliances and other devices that are in the house to meet the comfort, health and safety of the occupants of the house. To overcome these problems, intelligent control systems are designed using voice commands as control commands.

The purpose of this study supports the goal of Udayana University strategic planning in the form of making simple models for problem solving. The specific purpose of this study is to design and implement the design results for the problem of controlling on / off household appliances using voice commands as control commands.

The design of smart home systems in this study is focused on how to turn on the equipment inside the house by using the Raspberry Pi microcontroller as a processing machine and using a voice recognition module for processing information control.
